It is an appeal to that nobility, spoken of in the Book of Acts, for Christians to search the Scripturesto see if what I have written is true, andif these findings are true, to act upon and to stimulate others to act accordingly. The followers of Jesus are commanded to be salt and light in the earth. It is therefore our express call to see the image of God in all human beings, to seek their redemption and to look beyond our differences to the spiritual enemy who has opposed the human race since creation. The Scriptures teach that we are not fighting battles against flesh and blood, but against evil spiritual forces from a different dimension (2 Cor.10:4; Eph.6:12), which are afflicting all of mankind. As human beings, we have a common enemy, but he is not of this world.Over the last few decades, sectors of the Western World have made huge advances in multiple fields. All of these are (ideally) designed to improve life on planet earth for all of its inhabitants. Yet, despite these advances, poverty and oppression continue to increase and wars, or potential wars, are multiplying. We may hear lip service paid to such grand concepts as world peace and humanitarian interests, but the fact is that all fall by the wayside when pressure is applied by power wielding sources. From my perspective it seems also as if all economic, political and military forces are rushing headlong into some major showdown, in which only the fittest potentially will survive. Caught up in this struggle are also various religious forces, making this conglomerate loom like some mythical, multi-headed monster in the process of devouring itself and in its death throes, destroying everything within reach. In particular since 9/11, it has become glaringly apparent that there is a worldwide network of Islamic groups dedicated to achieving world domination. Gary Cooperberg writes, in THE POWER OF FAITH (Feb 11, 2003) ‘These people are fired by a religious fervour that sees many prepared to commit suicide to further their cause, while murdering and maiming countless innocents. Most leaders of Arab countries are, at least to some degree, supportive of the religious ideology that inspires these groups. And some actively support them both financially and by giving them physical asylum in their countries. Iraq, Iran, Syria, and Libya are but a few which come to mind as active supporters of terror. Is it possible to launch an all out war against all of these countries? Arab oil wealth has been skilfully used to invest in creating political influence in Western countries, especially in the United States, to forestall such an event.’1 Whether we like it or not, Arab oil and oil-wealth are the substances that keep Western leaders pliable to Arab diplomatic and associated pressures in Middle Eastern affairs. Although alarm bells have sounded over the years concerning this expansion of Islam, historically the human race is not very good at listening to warnings! During the last century the religion of Islam has seen a meteoric rise to great spiritual and political prominence in the world. Especially since WW II Islam has been engaged in a silent invasion of the world, yet Western, Christianized People seem to be unaware of the seriousness of the Qur’anic injunction to Muslims to subjugate the entire world to Allah. Consequently, the Islamic threat to our world is probably far more serious than most would dare to think. This book is a warning bell!Reconnecting with the tree!
