Then they said, “In fact, there is a yearly feast of the LORD in Shiloh, which is north of Bethel, on the east side of the highway that goes up from Bethel to Shechem, and south of Levonah.”   Judges 21:19; NKJV Although Ma’aleh Levonah was only resettled since 1967, its Jewish/Hebrew origins date back 3500 years.  These pictures were taken during a working visit to the village in the winter of 2006/7.  Many of the images show clearly that there would be enough room for Israelis and Arabs to live together in harmony - especially since the Palestinian people are in control of all fertile lands throughout Biblical Samaria.  It is the Israelis who have to live behind protective fences!
